Dianne Richards - Vice President
Dianne Richards is an administrative professional with over eighteen years of office experience working in a variety of fields. Dianne has worked and grown with: Carter & Burgess, Arthur Andersen, CAMEX, a Division of DuPont and American Science & Engineering. Her work philosophy is that she looks at the team she supports as her customers. She focuses on the team's needs, quality results, collaboration, communication, and technology’s potential to solve business challenges. Since most of her experience has been with sales & marketing divisions, Dianne knows the importance of customer service and communication.
Dianne has been an Executive Assistant with HSBC Bank since May 2006 when she first moved to New York from Boston. In this role, she supports seven Segment Leaders and assists with administrative functions involving 47 of the HSBC branches that are spread across Manhattan.
Along with her professional experience, Dianne has also stepped up in the volunteer field. She was a volunteer with the WGBH (PBS) Auction for 20 years and ran her church’s holiday bazaar for 10 years.
Dianne is a graduate of Bunker Hill Community College in Massachusetts with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. She is certified as Professional in Microsoft Word and Excel. She has interests in reading, movies, music, travel, networking, friends & family.
She was a charter member of the Boston IAAP Chapter; a member of the Route 128 Chapter for six years; and currently a member of the NYC Chapter where she has served as Treasurer and now Vice President.
Theresa Connolly - Secretary
If you were asked to use one adjective to describe Teresa Connolly, the one that first comes to mind is “loyal.” Teresa has demonstrated this trait in all facets of her life. The second one would be “committed” and they, of course, go hand in hand. Teresa is the epitome of perseverance in her pursuit of excellence.
Teresa began working more than 22 years ago at BMI where she is currently Associate Director, Office of the President. She was previously Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Corporate Secretary. She has seen two presidents step down before the current President was elected by the Board of Directors in 2004. That was also the year that she became an IAAP member, a move that was very much supported by her immediate supervisor. She got to attend four International Education Forum and Annual Meetings…in Denver, Reno, Tampa and New Orleans and thoroughly enjoyed those learning experiences. Teresa always enjoys learning new things and became a New York State Notary Public in 2004 as well. She is also an Emergency Coordinator and Fire Warden at BMI.
Teresa has done volunteer work in the past as a teacher of Christian Doctrine (CCD) to prepare public school children for their First Holy Communion, but now she prefers to spend her spare time sewing, reading and last, but not least, visiting her two-year old twin grandsons on the Jersey Shore.
She is a graduate of “Life Experiences” and plans to learn everyday of her life.
